A passenger bus was blown up on a mine near Artemovsk in the Donetsk Region trying to pass around a checking point.

As a result of the explosion of the regular bus not far from Artemovsk, four people were killed, another six were wounded. Ilya Kiva, deputy Chief Officer of the main Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk Region, reported on Facebook.

Today, at 19.40, a bus with 26 people on board blew up on a mine not far from Artemovsk passing around a checking point on a field road leading to the city of Gorlovka. Fur women died at the scene, six received injuries and were taken to hospital. The investigation is carried on, the driver was not injured and is interrogated over this fact,’ said Kiva.

In his own turn, the Donetsk Regional State Administration says: ‘Four people were killed, another 11 were wounded, including three with severe injuries. Ambulances are still taking the wounded people’.
