IGCP volunteer reports that over 50 prisoners are held in a secret jail in the Kramatorsk airport in the anti-terror operation region. The prisoners have been captured by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine as well as by armed units in the anti-terror operation region and nearby cities.

Residents of Slavyansk, Artemovsk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Kontsntinovka arrested for their sympathy to the Donetsk People’s Republic are held in the prison in the Kramatorsk airport. These ‘suspicions’ are usually based on anonymous denunciations.

The IGCPvolunteer notes that tortures are used against prisoners in the prison in the Kramatorsk airport to get information from them. Relatives and friends of the prisoners are not informed about location of the prisoners.
